Reviving History: A Journey in Restoring WWII-Era Cameras and Mastering Film Development

As a passionate photographer, I have spent recent years restoring mechanical cameras from around WWII and reconditioning them to full functionality. This journey involved mastering the complex mechanics of these vintage devices and learning to develop color film at home. Embracing the entire photographic process, I have become proficient in the C-41 chemical process and predominantly use Russian and Japanese fully mechanical cameras. This endeavor has not only deepened my appreciation for the craft but also enhanced my ability to capture and digitize reality with historical depth.
