Harnessing Cloud Solutions with OVH
Experience with OVH Services

For over a decade, I have been utilizing OVH services and have been consistently impressed by their offerings. Currently, most of my clients' websites and email systems, including the site you are viewing now, are hosted on OVH. My projects have involved working extensively with various OVH services, such as NSX-V and now NSX-T, to build fully cloud-based infrastructures using ESXi technologies hosted at OVH data centers—an invaluable asset for PCA and PRA planning. Additionally, I have set up numerous private clouds for hosting, storage, and backup purposes. While I have some reservations about their QEMU implementation for ISO management, VPS, and dedicated server handling, the overall reliability of these systems has been impressive.

Partnership with OVH Shadow

In early 2024, I established a partnership with OVH for their new Shadow solution, designed for performance-driven remote cloud computing. This solution has been particularly beneficial for clients involved in architecture, research, simulation, and rendering tasks, allowing them to use lightweight laptops while accessing high-performance computing power in a cloud environment.

Bucket Storage Solutions

Moreover, I have integrated various bucket storage solutions into my projects, including those from OVH, Google Cloud, and AWS, to manage archival and long-term data storage. These services provide scalable, highly available, and secure environments for storing large amounts of data, which is critical for compliance, disaster recovery, and cost-effective management of non-frequently accessed data. The bucket solutions allow me to efficiently store backups, archived records, and project files while ensuring easy accessibility and redundancy across multiple platforms. This flexibility has enabled me to tailor storage strategies to meet the diverse needs of my clients, whether for high-availability requirements or low-cost, long-term archival.
